TYPE LAB: RELATIVE STATES

Location: LCC / Letterpress Workshop & Lithographic Print Area.

Description:

This lab will explore expressive typographic forms & how scale combined with production can affect our perceptions & our responses. We will be making & creating in the letterpress workshop, then across the print department to originate & produce a series of printed typographic experiments.

The session will take place over a consecutive two day set of workshops & be primarily focussed on making/thinking – thinking/making activities.

You will have the opportunity to explore letterpress as a flexible, organic process & see the work transition into different states via the lithographic process in the print area.
