This is a 2 part session.


The first part is a workshop collaboration between performance programme students (BA Costume for Performance, BA 3D Effects for Performance and Fashion and BA Hair, Makeup and Prosthetics for Performance)
at the School of Media and Communication, London College of Fashion and students from BA Graphic and Media Design programme at London College of Communication.

The workshop stems from a series of experimental teaching sessions and research conducted by Ravin Raori, Andy Lee, Ben Turnbull and Sheldon Chow at UAL.

The workshop will be a collaborative co-design exercise in Virtual Reality, using the Shapes XR platform for Meta Quest. Students from LCC and LCF will get into the same physical and virtual space to create a digital fashion artefact.

The workshop will also be a space to meet colleagues and classmates across UAL, discuss new ideas and engage in conversations around emerging technologies in fashion and media arts, digital futures and the metaverse.

The second part of this session will be for LCC students only on a separate day. We will review the fashion artefacts constructed and output them in different formats including WebXR using Mozilla Hubs.
