(in)appropriated books aims to act as a mode of questioning, a tool of speculation, and a coming together.
We will start by looking at artists that used books as tools of appropriation and then - using withdrawn books from the LCC library - we will create our own appropriations. We will use a series of interventions for this - ranging from mark-making to re-assembling those books using a variety of binding methods.
