This project brings together the five Fashion Designers (finalists of the DDH Creative DNA Accelerator Programme) with five students BA (Hons) Graphic and Media Design in their second or final year to develop a meaningful collaborative working relationship that is equitable, ethical, and mutually beneficial in sharing knowledge, skills, and experiences.

This is an opportunity to collaborate on the creation of new graphic design narratives on African fashion, building on or strengthening local brands, to increase international reach and impact. Students will have the opportunity develop intercultural work ethics, designs skills, and communication skills that enhances your employability and range of creativity.

The CDNA finalists have their own distinct logos, and the graphic designers will help them improve and develop their overall branding, providing them with recommendations and guidelines. This will be done with individual caseloads, based on the level and needs of each fashion designer. Below are some examples of what would be required of the graphic designers: -

Project Schedule

Virtual on MS Teams and Studio Lab Tower Block 6th Floor (or other suitable studio spaces)

Participants are required to commit to all the scheduled sessions for the duration of the project.
