Catwalk4Power are a group of HIV+ women who describe themselves as "Powerful women empowering their community of peers, creating safe spaces for women and fighting HIV stigma". We will be running evening sessions at LCC, where students will work directly with 6 Catwalk4Power participants to design and realise a series of prints, using the screen printing facilities.
This is an exciting opportunity for 6 LCC students (from any Design School course) who are interested in working with communities and who have screen printing experience. Students will need to be able to attend all 4 of the evening sessions and to have used the screen printing facilities at LCC before.
Location: Screenprinting Workshop @LCC + studio space
Dates: Tuesdays: 7th & 14th March, 11th & 18th April
Times: Evenings (17.00 - 20.30)
Keywords: Communities, Screenprinting, Activism
